3o day weightloss challenge - days 11-17yep. i’m waaaaay behind. bah!
Day 11: Your favourite thinspo blog and why.
tbh, i don’t really have a *favorite*. i love every blog i follow, or else i wouldn’t follow them. every single one of you makes me feel less alone in my journey. and that’s what this is about. making it through to the end, and i wouldn’t be able to do that if i didn’t share it with everyone on here - and vice versa. so no favorites, i love you all!
Day 12: What do you normally eat?
it all depends on what i’ve got in the house to eat.
usually i eat oatmeal for breakfast, though. ‘cause i fucking love oatmeal.
lunch is usually a roast beef sandwich, or eggs with some fruit.
and dinner is usually Ant’s pick, and i eat lightly.
(like last night was hamburger helper. i ate super light, ‘cause i freaking hate ground beef).
Day
13: Are you losing weight in a healthy or unhealthy way?
HEALTHY IS THE ONLY WAY.
Day
14: What’s your UGW? When do you expect to reach it?
right now, 150 is my lowest i ever want to be.
but something between 150 and 160, i think would be perfect for me.
and i’m hoping to reach it before july first!
but if not, at least by the time my birthday rolls around at the end of august.
Day
15: Are you vegan or vegetarian? If so, has this helped you lose weight? If not, would you ever consider turning vegan or vegetarian?
i was born a vegetarian. no. seriously. my body rejected all of the baby food that had any form of meat in it, and as i got older my body continued to reject whatever meat i tried to put into it. so after tons of doctors visits, i was finally put on different medications (to control my anemia) and given different supplements so my body could obtain the things it needed from meat, without having to actually eat it. now. when i was thirteen my dad made me (seriously, no joke) eat a steak. since then, i was treated as a little omnivore instead of a strict herbivore.
there are times when i want to be a vegetarian again, considering my body still has issues with digesting and processing just about ANY kind of meat (with the exception of fish/shrimp/crab). but the only thing keeping from doing that all over again is the fact that i would have to go back to the doctor often for check-ups and medications. (i have a lot of internal health problems i have always dealt with, so i guess i’m willing to pay the price of an upset stomach over having to remember how many pills i have to take a day).
Day
16: When did you first decide to lose weight?
i’ve been wanting to for years. but it was like as soon as 2012 hit, i realized it was now or never. i can’t keep starting and quitting, or just talking about it and never actually starting anything. so this year i decided to man up and go through with it so i can be healthy. as healthy as i can make myself.
Day
17: Do you have an eating disorder?
other then my body sometimes rejecting food on its own, nope. which, by the way really sucks when your body refuses to utilize the food you put in it (healthy or unhealthy). some days it’s like playing food roulette. one day i can eat as many apples as i want, the next, it’s like i’m suddenly allergic to them and i spend the whole day with stomach cramps or throwing it all back up. so it’s not an eating disorder, it’s a medical problem that still hasn’t been figured out - but that’s about as close to eating disorder i’ll ever get.
